This is a short term assignment (4-5 months) located in Reston, VA.

Job Responsibilities (include but not limited to):
Review of exiting piping designs for hydro vents & drains
3D modeling of piping, HVAC and equipment.
Preparation of drawings/documents for General Arrangements, Equipment Location and piping isometrics drawings using Microstation and/or AutoCAD,
Assist with coordination of 3D model activities, i.e. input, interference reconciliation, etc. with other physical related disciplines, design partners, and customer,
Assists with plans and schedules and prepare/maintain design procedures, standards to provide quality design documents,
Interface with stress and pipe support engineers, design partners, construction, and suppliers during the preparation of piping designs for the purpose of model/space control, etc.,
Perform coordination review of specifications and other documents prepared by others.
Bachelor's Degree and 1 year of related experience or AA/AS degree with 3 years of related design experience; or 7 years related design experience in lieu of a formal degree
Possess the right to work in the US without sponsorship
Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
Hands-on experience using 3D Modeling Software
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Previous Bechtel project experience
Previous design experience on nuclear power projects.
