The primary responsibility of this function is to Lead and Supervise all Lifting, crane and rigging activities and rigging personnel, manage Operators and riggers certification and training program on assigned Project.
Key responsibilities of the position are:
Supervise and manage a number of craft supervisors to achieve tight construction milestones.
Assign work tasks and supervise the work such that it is undertaken in accordance with the established schedule and rigging plan.
Review and approve lift plans and ensure crane inspections are up to date.
Equipment Planning, erection sequencing and methodologies are reviewed accordingly.
Development and oversight of rigging equipment registers.
Implement a culture amongst the workforce to ensure that safety and environmental considerations are rigorously and consistently applied during all delivery tasks.
Preparing reports and planning, including summary of lifting operations, craft personnel management.
Monitoring the activities of subcontractors to ensure compliance with safety specifications, regulations and schedules.
Implementation of corporate/project policies, procedures and instructions within assigned operations.
Coordinating activities with other disciplines or areas and clients’ resident representatives, as instructed by construction management.
Comply and regulate with all the certifications and training rigging and lifting personnel required on site.
Must have pasted the Bechtel’s Competent Person Rigger Trainer (CPRT) course.
Has experience as a Crane Operator Examiner (COE).
Understands All Crane and Rigging Standard Work Process Procedure (SWPP’s).
Has at least 15 years’ experience on the operator of cranes and rigging.
