Specific activities include:
Management and interpretation of large data sets
Creation of user-friendly interactive reports and tools for various audiences
Performing data integrity validation, highlighting issues to data owners, aiding in resolution
Identification of cost trends for management attention
Training the Project team members to properly use the tools and reports, and soliciting feedback for improvement
Primary responsibility and associated duties include:
Creation and maintenance of Project-Controls-related tools and interactive reports, primarily utilizing Microsoft Excel, Access, and Power BI
Interfacing directly with data owners and report customers
Automation of reports and processes
Contribution to the Progress and Cost Reports (as required)
Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Construction Management or Business, or a minimum of 4 years additional Project Controls experience.
Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
A minimum of five years Project Controls experience, preferably consisting of Cost activities
Experience with various Bechtel Standard Applications (BSAPs), such as ePCWorks, EcoSys, BPS, eSub, CADS, etc.
A working knowledge of Cost and Planning work processes
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to present data and analysis to Project team (both Project Controls and other groups)
- Experience in SQL, Visual Basic, Microsoft Access, and/or Microsoft Power BI
