The Project Human Resources Representative will perform a variety of personnel support activities for the Wylfa Newydd Nuclear Power Plant project and support all HR processes, policies, and programs.
Support project management in posting open positions in the applicant tracking system including creation of job descriptions and identifying position requirements.
Responsible for maintaining staffing management system, ongoing updates and accurate reporting.
Review resumes and route qualified candidates to project management for review.
Ensure timely decisions are made in the selection of successful candidates and update the status of all applicants in the applicant tracking system.
Schedule and coordinate interviews and coordinate hiring documentation.
Preparation and processing of approved personnel actions.
Responsible for interfacing with potential employees including reviewing benefits information, terms and conditions of employment, and relocation.
Provide ongoing HR guidance and support to all project personnel.
Responsible for supporting HR programs, policies and initiatives.
Maintain project employee records and responsible for integrity of data.
Coordinate with multiple global Bechtel HR departments to ensure all personnel activities are processed in accordance with established HR policies, procedures and work processes.
Will support project HR Manager with various HR initiatives.
Responsible for project onboarding program, including coordinating and facilitating Bechtel induction training.
Consult with HR Manager on policy interpretations, intent and application of Bechtel personnel policies and procedures. May assist project management in resolving HR policy issues.
Prior HR generalist experience.
Human Resources certification and/or formal HR training/education.
Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment while balancing shifting priorities.
Prior experience in interpretation and implementation of HR policies.
Working knowledge of employment laws affecting Human Resources.
Knowledge of legal liabilities affecting human resources administration.
Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of personnel including senior management.
Strong organization and analytical skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal relationship skills.
Ability to handle sensitive information and maintain a high level of discretion and confidentiality.
Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
Must have the right to work and remain in the United Kingdom without sponsorship.
Must be able to relocate to the project site in Anglesey, Wales or project office when construction commences, currently estimated 2020/2021 timeframe.
Must be able to obtain and maintain BPSS security clearance required for this position.
Experience working with TalentWorks and related work processes or similar HRMS systems.
Experience implementing HR policies and procedures in an organization with global company operations.
Prior Bechtel experience
Other Requirements: Must have the right to work in the UK without company sponsorship. Must be able to obtain and maintain Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) clearance.
