Configures the planning templates, route maps, and forms in SAP/SuccessFactors’ compensation module and administers the system throughout the annual compensation planning process. Works with Global SAP HRMS team for data and system integration and change management activities. Acts as liaison between the Global Business Unit (GBU) HR business partners gathering feedback on process improvements, planning manager structures, security, approval workflows etc. Partners closely with the global compensation design team for program design changes, system and process requirements and supports system testing.
Provides Compensation process and program support by: meeting with the Global Total Rewards Compensation manger/ team and coordinates updates to systems, process and tools, used in the annual planning cycle. Assists in the development and delivery of planning communications to mangers, supervisors and the HR community as required. Monitors planning process, provides data and reports as needed to planning mangers.
Maintains employee data, information and working files according to required confidentiality/privacy standards and best practices.
Bachelor Level Degree in Human Resources or related field, plus, 6-7 years related HR work experience
Experience using SAP/SuccessFactors/SAP talent-management (BizX) suite
Fluent in English
Good communication, interpersonal and collaboration skills
Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with a broad range of individuals across all levels in the organization.
Ability to manage multiple projects and balance priorities simultaneously.
Ability to exercise initiative and make decisions with little or no supervision and be accountable for such actions
Ability to be proactive, flexible, and adaptive to changing priorities
Ability and skills in the following areas: attention to detail, transaction accuracy and quality, prioritizing and organizing work transactions in a high-volume environment, understanding of integrated HR, payroll, accounting, billing systems and downstream impact of HR transactions.
Experience configuring and administering SAP/SuccessFactors or other compensation-planning application
Advanced knowledge of Bechtel HR policies and processes, functional organizations and organizational structure
HR generalist experience including compensation administration
Knowledge of Six Sigma/Lean concepts and practices for process management
Solid understanding and proficiency utilizing Bechtel HR systems, work processes and policies
Ability to travel domestically and internationally if required
